UW-Eau Claire will host the fall concert of the Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff, at 5 p.m. Nov. 10 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Concert Choir will perform works by Byrd, Mendelsshon, Gretchaninoff, Britton and many others. The concert will include two segments, an intermission and a performance by the a cappella group Impromptu.
Throughout its history, the Concert Choir has worked with many outstanding orchestras, including the Minnesota Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra and the Philadelphia Brass. The Concert Choir also has traveled many times to perform in Europe and Washington, D.C.
Tickets, available at the Service Center in Davies Center, are $6 for the public; $4 for those 62 and older or 17 and younger; and $1.50 for faculty, staff and students with a university ID.
