Career Services at UW-Eau Claire will host a variety of free activities for students during Explore Your Possibilities Oct. 22-24.All sessions will be held on the third floor of Davies Center. A complete schedule of events, as well as the opportunity to pre-register, can be found on the event’s website. Faculty and staff also are welcome to attend the sessions.This annual event features more than 30 presentations on topics related to career decision making, the internship and job search, and graduate and professional school. Students will gain information and advice from employers, faculty, staff and invited alumni with experience in their industry. A sample of session topics include Careers in the Environmental Sciences, Success in Your First Job, Applying to Grad School, Choosing a Major, Careers in Counseling, Careers in Business and Interviewing 101.Explore Your Possibilities is a nationally recognized program. The National Association of Colleges and Employers recognized Career Services with the 2011 Innovation Excellence Award in Student Engagement.
