     UW-Eau Claire's "Ask a Scientist" series continues with a presentation by Dr. Marc Goulet, UW-Eau Claire professor of mathematics, at 7:00 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Acoustic Café in downtown Eau Claire.
     Goulet will present a brief history of probability and applications, including the role that probability has played and continues to play in the natural and social sciences.
     The series will continue at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 with a presentation titled "Acoustic Communication in Birds" by Dr. Lauren Wentz, assistant professor of biological sciences at UW-Barron County.
