       An exhibit titled "States of the State: A Survey of American Printmaking by Drive By Press" will be on display through Nov. 27 in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center at UW-Eau Claire.
       For nine years artist Joseph Velásquez traveled 200,000 miles, lecturing at more than 200 colleges and universities about contemporary trends in printmaking with his project, Drive By Press. During his travels he amassed a large collection of contemporary prints from both artists and collectors. This exhibit will  feature a selection of the prints Velásquez curated from his collection.
       Foster Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays, 6-8 p.m. Thursdays and 1-4:30 p.m. weekends.
