       Visiting poet Mark Wunderlich, acclaimed author of three poetry collections, will present a poetry reading at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 in the Woodland Theater of Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.
       Wunderlich's most recent collection, "The Earth Avails," was published this year. His other collections are titled "Voluntary Servitude" and "The Anchorage," which received the Lambda Literary Award. He has received fellowships from the National Education Association, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Amy Lowell Trust and the Civatella Ranieri Foundation. Aside from writing poetry, Wunderlich teaches writing and literature at Bennington College in Vermont.
       The event is presented by the UW-Eau Claire English department and English Fest with generous support from the Morris Fund of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Academic Affairs Professional Development Program, College of Arts and Sciences and the Student Senate.
