Elizabeth Redden, a correspondent for Inside Higher Education, will present "Trends in the Internationalization of Higher Education" from 3-5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in Room 1704 of Centennial Hall at UW-Eau Claire. 

Redden reports on international higher education for Inside Higher Education on such topics as study abroad, internationalization of the curriculum, and the recruitment and integration of international students. Her articles and essays have appeared in a variety of publications, including Gastronomica, The Hechinger Report, The Orion, the Swarthmore College Bulletin and The Washington Post. She holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from Columbia University. Many of Redden's articles can be found online.

The presentation, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by UW-Eau Claire's Council on Internationalization and Global Engagement (CIGE) and CETL.
