Enjoy the talent of the faculty from the Music and Theatre Arts Department in the faculty recital series in the intimate and beautiful space of the Clearwater Recital Hall on the first Fridays of the month.

The first half of this concert features Robert Schumann’s Three Romances for oboe, a setting of Ayres by Katherine Hoover based on John Dowland songs, and Eldin Burton’s Sonatina, with guest flutist Brian Allred. Following a brief intermission, the audience will be treated to Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces for cello, and Louis Farrenc’s Sonata for cello, but transcribed for viola. Christa Garvey, oboe, Nicholas Phillips, piano, Alistair Wright, soprano saxophone, Brian Allred, flute, Tulio Rondon, cello, and Molly Gebrian, viola will perform.

Tickets are $3.50 for students and $5 for adults. Tickets may be purchased through the Pablo at the event window or in advance at www.pablocenter.org.
