The UW-Eau Claire chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary will host its second annual “Run For Your Life!” Halloween 5K on Thursday, Oct. 25.  

The untimed run will be held on the Putnam Trail, where actors will be hiding along the course waiting to scare runners. Runners are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, and prizes will be awarded for the best individual and team costumes.  

Registration is $15, and includes a T-shirt, glow stick and refreshments. All participants should meet at Towers Commons and plan to arrive early for registration. Those planning to participate can also register online. 

All proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Susan B. Komen Foundation in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For more details and registration information, check out the event's Facebook page.
