The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present a faculty/guest artist recital on March 13. Lynn Ledbetter will be featured playing the violin at 7:30 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of Haas Fine Arts Center. Ledbetter will be playing with UW-Eau Claire faculty Melissa Koprowski, assistant professor of music, clarinet, and Dr. Owen Lovell, assistant professor of music, piano.

 The evening will open with "Trio for Violin, Clarinet, and Piano" by Aram Khachaturian. The second piece titled "Suite from 'L'Histoire du Soldat' ('The Soldier's Tale') by Igor Stravinsky is made up of five movements. The concert will close with "Contrasts" by Bela Bartok, a piece based on Hungarian and Romanian themes.
