The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present Ranier Hatchfield's "Mugnog," a political play for young audiences, at 1:30 p.m. April 6 and 7 in Studio 190 of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The production also will tour to elementary schools throughout western Wisconsin April 2-9.

Who says an ordinary box can't be a magical toy? In "Mugnog," two children show how the power of imagination can undermine the authority of adults and empower kids to create their own rules. The production integrates music, singing and dance throughout the story.
