Dr. Alan Rieck

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the Women's Concert Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Alan J. Rieck at 2 p.m. Nov. 18 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. 

The Nov. 18 concert features several pieces, including "Singers All" by Barbara Sletto, "Dance on My Heart" by Allen Koepke and "I Know My Mountain Breezes" by Ola Gjielo, a piece commissioned by UW-Eau Claire for this group.

The Women's Concert Chorale focuses on music written for its specific sound and treble voice strength. The choir has made appearances across the globe throughout the past decade with its debut CD release in May 2005.
