Mark Fisher

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present a guest artist recital featuring trombonist Mark Fisher at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18 in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. A master class will follow the recital.

Fisher will perform a variety of works, including "Deux Danses, Movement 1, Danse Sacree" by Jean-Michel Defaye; "Intermezzo," Op. 35, No. 11 by Reinhold Gliere; and "Elegy for Mippy" by Leonard Bernstein. Dr. Barbara Young, UW-Eau Claire lecturer of music, will provide piano accompaniment. More information.
